Where they started
Tim Snelson started the business in 1985. His son Dillon came up through the shop and now runs operations. Their customers knew where to find them: the yard on I-20, the office phone, and a Google listing. What they didn’t have was a website, so there was nowhere to show the units on the yard, the parts they stock, or the forty years behind the name.
What we built
The phone comes first. Every button on the site calls the office, because that’s how their customers buy. Later, at Tim’s request, we added one short “Request a Call Back” form: a name and a phone number.
A page for each line of work. Pumping-unit sales (over 600 units to choose from, including Lufkin, American, Weatherford, Shores, Sentry, Permian and low-profile units), service and repair, pump jack parts, and the machine shop. Each page is written to show up when someone searches for that work.
Their people and their yard. Real photos of Tim and Dillon at the shop, and a gallery of the yard. No stock photos.
Their real reviews. Genuine Google reviews, pulled straight from their listing.
Counting that respects visitors. The site counts page views and taps on the phone number without cookies and without tracking anyone, so it needs no cookie banner.
What the care plan does every month
A plain-English report on the 5th. Visits, calls from the site and form requests, and since October, the numbers from their Google listing too.
Reading the numbers pays off. September’s report showed two visitors typing a “/contact-us” address that didn’t exist and landing on an error page. That address now goes straight to the Contact page.
An accessibility check. The same week, a check found that screen readers misread the logo link, and that the form’s outlines were too faint for people with low vision. Both were fixed.
